You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage - Page 2 Empty Re: You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage

Post by Sage Sun May 08, 2022 4:22 am

This had taken a turn.

For all the warmth and flowery vibes Robin was putting off in his baffling offer to make their "parenthood" "legit", Sage caught quite the different vibe. It felt nefarious. Ominous. A cold pit formed in his stomach and a primal, prey-like fear took hold as tightly as Robin held his scrawny wrist. He paled and his eyes were shaded by his cropped hair, and though normally painfully direct, he averted his gaze.

He was gonna get violated by this fairy, wasn't he?

"Not like this..." Sage whispered, as if his soul was leaving his body again, and really it might. He wasn't very healthy and his heart was beating fast enough to cause the beginnings of an asthma attack. See, molestation was never off the table given the shady, dangerous places he frequented to sell his wares, but man, he'd been hypervigilant about the wrong places and people apparently. He'd always had one eye on the hobos and the seedy bunch wandering the dark corners and alleys for action. Never had he thought it'd be a Gaiyan fairy who had pooped an egg in a hotel room in Mackemm after a blizzard.

He'd never given much thought to how he'd lose his virginity. Sage wasn't the type to expect it to be romantic or full of meaning, or to even ever happen. In a way, he was completely fine with being a virgin forever, though he'd never admit it since being a virgin was often accusatory and said in a negative or condescending way. He'd even claimed to not be a virgin before purely for ego, but... it still remained that he didn't really want to lose it against his will. Maybe a one-night-stand many years from now if the opportunity arose with someone worth a second glance... Not like this.... Not with a Gaiyan...

But there was no way Sage was going down this road as a victim! He wouldn't let it be like this! The fearful, startled look abruptly left and he lifted his face, eyes full of defiant fire. Crazed, really. Flushed cheeks and mouth stiffly smirking, as if this was all fine and a normal way to go about doing the do. He'd take control and spin this so no one could ever say he was taken advantage of against his will! Can't rape the willing! Race didn't matter, either! Nothing did! He wouldn't be molested by a man looking so nervous and timid and unsure just because he wasn't strong enough to fight him off! That would be an insult worse than whatever violence awaited him. "Why don't you find out? Can't read the vibes? Fairies are such clueless cowards," Sage scoffed his challenge, as if he knew more than Robin about all of this... when in fact, he didn't have a clue if he was the giver or the taker.

ROBIN SILVERPINE

Robin tilted his head a little as he heard the witch mutter something to himself, trying to catch what he said but still missing it. While a cloud of doom hung over Sage's head, Robin remained all apprehensive and fidgety at his side, completely oblivious to his nefarious perception of him. Sure, Robin wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but he seemed to only have the best of intentions at this very moment. He had never dreamed of consummating with a witch after having their baby, but sometimes life takes the reigns and there was nothing left to do but take it all in stride. 'Act now, think later!' as he'd say.

Robin was still quietly rambling to himself about intimate details of their rapidly approaching ritual when suddenly Sage sharply cut him off with blatant contempt.

"Vibes...?" Robin echoed him, squinting as if trying to understand.

To most intelligently capable people, the witch was clearly bluffing about the entire situation. Throughout their entire time together, there had been nothing but an air of discomfort, disgust, and a supreme desire to escape from this fair-haired fairy. Unless something had changed (it hasn't), it'd be hard to convince someone that after all of that, sex was suddenly on the table.

Contrarily, for people with unfortunate amounts of perception and whose head is but an empty void filled with remnants of brain rot and maybe a sprinkle of sociopathy, the only 'vibes' they're picking up is: "Oh wow, this guy really knows what he's doing!

It was Robin. Robin was people.

"Oh, good! Y'know, for a second there, I thought you'd say no!" he began dragging Sage towards the semi-soiled bed, still looking mildly apprehensive but positively inspired by Sage's confidence (no matter how degrading), "We just have to do it, right? As long as we go all the way, we'll be right as rain! Soooo... take off your clothes!"

The blonde shuffled around, trying to help undress him, and seemingly excited to do it. Or nervous. Maybe both. Either way, he was physically capable of realizing this ritual of his whether the witch really wanted to go through with it or not. At the same time, the pale white egg lying on the bed began to shift around ever so slightly, and if they were to quiet down, a tapping noise could be heard just faintly.

You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage - Page 2 Empty Re: You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage

Post by Sage Tue May 10, 2022 12:28 am

Resisting the urge to scream was rather intense, more than he anticipated. If only his grimoire wasn't all the way across the room with his things. Sage was able to use magic without spells written in the book, but they were more taxing on his body, and his body, as previously mentioned several times, was weak. Plus he needed to concentrate, and even if he wanted to delude himself into thinking he was calm and this was all his idea, his brain was a scrambled mess.

At least the man undressing him wasn't hideous, right? No humpback or deformations that he could see. All he had working against him was... well, his whole personality, level of intelligence, and being Gaiyan, but just on shallow standards it was all fine...

Yet as Robin attempted to pull his black undershirt over his head, Sage instinctively yanked it back down. Obviously, being stripped to do something he didn't want to do on that nasty bed was a powerful motivator to try to escape, but also... the little witch was self-conscious, of all things. Again, something he'd never admit, but he'd never had to since he refused to be seen without a shirt and shorts at the very least, though he was most comfortable in several layers and his large hat to bulk up his frame. Sage barely had more pigment than a bleached sheet of paper in the most expensive of spell books and his build was dainty. Almost feminine, though it was definitely not by choice. He'd have loved to be an imposing lump of testosterone-fueled muscles and body hair, masculine but deceptively smart, just an alpha predator all around. But... given his mother's sickly nature that he (erroneously) blamed for his and his twin's misfortunate health, he was saddled with stunted growth, hairless porcelain skin, and the repeated stabs of being called cute until he opened his mouth.

"Your logic is ineffable," Sage grumbled, almost finding the humor in the ridiculous notion that bumping uglies would somehow "make him commit" and set whatever criteria Robin had for this brain-dead scenario "right as rain". He continued to struggle to keep his clothes on, even going do far as to sit on the crusty comforter before his shirt was finally ripped off and he was left frustratingly vulnerable to the naked eye. From his new position of unwillingly reclining on the bed, he thought he heard something when the fart-brained fairy took a breath.

"Wait- Wait! Did you hear that?" the witch squawked, turning to look at the egg. Was it his panicked imagination searching for a way out of this that pulled his attention to something that may or may not be there, or was it making a tapping noise?

You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage - Page 2 Empty Re: You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage

ROBIN SILVERPINE

"Ineffable...?" Robin paused for a moment, unsure of what that word meant. It was one of those big words that his immediate vocabulary couldn't define, but he didn't spare a moment to ponder it. Instead, he smiled fondly as he thoughtlessly began stripping Sage of his clothing. "Not sure what that means, but you're probably right! But you know what? Now that we're up close and personal and all that, you really do feel like a girl! Really thin, small... oh! And you have a pretty face, too! Anyway, off with these clothes, right?"

While Sage was on the brink of a meltdown, Robin continued to chit chat like he wasn't about to violate a witch. Well, 'violate' was putting it rather harshly. Truthfully, if he wasn't rejected in simple language, he just wouldn't get it. Besides, this was Sage's idea anyway. It's not like Robin cared about the sex part of things until he brought it up!

In any case, the disparity in strength between them was comical at the very least. When there was nothing to stop the fair-headed fae from carrying out this ineffable plan, just then, Sage spoke out.

"Huh?" chimed Robin, following Sage's icy-yet-panicked gaze and staring at the egg. He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but even after a long pause, nothing happened. Nothing of import seemed to occur. Yet, just when Robin would happily return to his intimate ritual, the tapping noise from earlier could be heard again—and this time, louder.

Immediately, Robin abruptly crawled off of Sage and hovered over the egg with great interest, eyes staring daggers at its unblemished shell. Restless with anticipation, he pressed his ear against it.

"Do you hear that!? It's definitely trying to get out!" Robin eagerly looked between the egg and Sage, and then settled his gaze on Sage, looking puzzled, "We can worry about the sex later, y'know! We have to get ready to welcome our child! Put your clothes on! Sheesh!" he scolded him.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-- !!!!"

Sage actually screamed. Something, one of the many things Robin had said in the past two minutes finally broke his tenuous grip on his cool that had been slipping since yesterday.

Felt like a girl? Our child? Worry about the sex later? Put your clothes on! Sheesh! ?!?!??!?!!?

dfjskdfsalfk

In a fit of... some sort of crazed emotion, be it terror, rage, or a combination of both, the witch grabbed up the football-shaped shell, not even caring that he knew what orifice it had come from and his bare skin was touching it. He chucked it, tapping and squeaking, against the closest wall to them.

ROBIN SILVERPINE

His soul had yet again escaped his body as he saw his nameless partner chuck their egg-baby clear across the room like a quarterback going for gold. All of the color drained from Robin's face as he sprinted after the egg, hoping to catch it in time.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-- !!!!" Robin screamed almost identically to Sage, but his voice wet with horror instead of the witch boy's acute rage. Even after a bursting sprint and a fire in his legs like none he's ever felt before, the egg was faster, and no sooner had it been chucked did it crash against the wall.

Crack! The egg shattered into what felt like a million pieces as Robin held the broken bits in his hand, tears welling up in the corners of his eyes.

"Brian, you idiot! Junior's way too young to be playing CATCH! Look what you've done!!" Robin yelled at him, actually sobbing now, "Just wait until everybody hears how you're a baby killer, Brian! BRIAN THE BABY KILLER! BABY KILLER BRIAN!"

While Robin continued telling 'Brian' off about his recklessness and mental break, there was one significant chunk of shell that remained in-tact. In fact, there was a clean cut in the middle, and it shuffled and wiggled around the floor like there was something underneath it. Unfortunately, Robin was too caught up in his grief and anger to notice.

"How could... *sniffle* how could you do...!"

Now that he was released from the grip and situation, Sage sat up with fire in his eyes, yanking his shirt onto his body and standing up. He didn't care if the thing cracked or didn't, if there was really something in it or if it lived or died. He didn't care about anything--

"Brian? BRIAN?!"

"IT'S SAGE!" the witch roared back, suddenly furious again and not realizing he'd ruined his own plan for keeping his name a secret. He was entering tantrum mode, and so help Robin if he got his hands on his grimoire he'd be slinging slugs from every hole in his body for a month. Everything that came out of this fairy's mouth was broken! Playing catch!? Baby killer?! Why did he just correct the name?!!?!

"LOOK!" he shrieked, pointing at the moving part of the shell while he stalked over to his bag. "The stupid thing's alive, whatever it is, now shut your mouth. Voidblight take me, you are the dumbest person I've ever met," he fussed, putting on the rest of his outfit in a flourish, complete with hat. Book in hand, he made for the door, daring Robin to stop him.

ROBIN SILVERPINE

"*sniffle*...!" Robin slowly looked up as Sage shrieked and pointed at the murder scene, insisting that their child was, in fact, alive. The waterfall of tears stopped dripping from his eyes as he followed Sage's gaze and found himself staring curiously at the eggshell. Finally, peeking beneath it, his shiny green eyes laid on something truly special, and his entire face seemed to light up. "Fleuve'ir, you're totally right, Sage! Look at this! He's got your eyes and my nose and—oh, they're just perfect! Sage, look at them—"

Robin said that, but just as he turned over to beckon Sage, he was already two steps out the door. From the corners of the hallway, he could see curious and mortified bystanders peek out as the witch boy stepped out, and then peered inside to find... whatever their personal hellhole was. Soiled sheets, broken eggshells, funky smells, and a half naked man crouched over a creature. Robin, unsurprisingly, was unperturbed by the attention and just blankly stared at the door, visibly confused.

"Eh? Sage??"

"OUTTA THE WAY!"

Sage didn't stick around to hear whatever revelation the bipolar fairy was having. He ran out of the room and elbowed his way through the rubber necks, flying down the inn hall. As he went he vaguely grumbled about how a living being of any type could cry so much and not have shriveled by now. He should be dehydrated or something, but also, Sage didn't care. It was time to leg it. The carriage. The carriage!!

Already wheezing by the time he got out of the inn's front doors, he pushed his weak body forward as fast as he could, which wasn't impressive at all. However, with demonic determination he descended upon the driver as he flicked the last bits of snow off of the seat. "Engloria!" Sage roared as he soared into the carriage and slammed the door shut, locking it as if he was being actively pursued.

He didn't know how right he was as the carriage reluctantly lurched forward.

You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage - Page 2 Empty Re: You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage

ROBIN SILVERPINE

Once he realized that Sage was booking it out of their inn room, Robin was finally up on his feet trying to catch up to him. He rushed to get his pants back on but ended up tripping over himself and the many items littered across the floor. By the time he finished putting his clothes on, he could tell that the foul-mouthed witch was long gone.

"H-Hey! Sage?? Wait up!" Robin called out into the hallway, though the words would never land on Sage's ears. He scooped up the nearly born baby into his arms as if it were made of glass and speedily dashed out of the room. "Saaaage!"

[Moments later...]

Despite Sage's pathetic athletic capabilities, he had enough of a head start to secure his ride out of Mackemm Village. The snowstorm had passed, and even with his undesirable physical abilities, he was well on his way out of this town and onto the next place, and no one could reasonably stop him. Yet, just as the witch would find himself settling into his ride, something odd and ominous was approaching.

Far down the street from the inn, like a bloodhound on a mission, the animated silhouette of a person could be seen sprinting directly for Sage and his carriage ride. With it, words as ominous as his approaching figure could be heard ever so slightly, but gradually grew in volume as he drew closer.

"Sil...pine! Sil... pine!"

The figure drew closer, revealing his full head of brilliant blonde hair.

"Sil-ver... pine! Silver...!"

The words were beginning to connect now, as he finally came into full view.

"SIL-VER-PINE! SIL-VER-PINE! SIL-VER-PINE!"

At this point, Robin was well on his way over to Sage with a fire in his eyes too fierce to be passion. No—it looked like he was going to devour whatever and whoever was at the end of his path! His face was caked with so much sweat, it looked shiny with all the fairy glitter that came from him. What's more? In his hands was like some sort of pitch-black fuzzball, staring dumbly into the unknown ahead of it. Robin held what looked like a... Floomba, like a football!

"SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE! WAIT UUPPPPPPPP!"

Thoom! The carriage door closed and slammed shut just a milisecond before Robin could get to it, temporarily shielding Sage from this abnormally athletic fairy as the blonde crashed into it. He smothered his face against the small window, staring into what felt like Sage's soul with the same bloondhoundish eyes. With the strange-looking Floomba dumbly smooshed against the window beside his own face, Robin heavily breathed against the glass, his voice much deeper than usual, and said...

"L̶͉̋͆E̷̹͈̰̿T̸̙̗̓̇̑ ̴̮̳̇M̵̻̘̼̑̈́͠Ē̷͖̼͆ ̸͙̾̈́͜͝ͅÎ̸̹ͅN̴͖̟̊́̚.̷̦̏͌͝ ̵͔̼̇͋̓I̸͉͍̎̕͝ͅ ̸͚̰̌H̸̢̭̲͘À̴̟͇͙V̶̩̜̈͐̏E̴͖͓̖̅͝ ̴̼̱̉Y̸̜̚O̷͍͑͌̅U̶͍͕̓R̸̪̯̍ ̸͋ͅḆ̷̢̓̋̅Ȧ̴͔̥̻̐B̶̪̭̪̂͊Y̷̞̝̥̓̂͝.̶̨͋̎͛"

You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage - Page 2 Empty Re: You Are [Not] The Father! | Sage

Post by Sage Tue May 17, 2022 6:49 am

Maybe he'd gotten away and that whole strange night was a thing of the past he'd forget after a few years of randomly remembering it in the dark hours of the night.

Oh, too soon, baby boy.

The chanting, no matter how ominous, he'd ignored. Like the hapless victim in a horror play, he pretended if he ignored it, it would go away. If he didn't look, it wasn't real. Nothing was going to happen to him. Nope. He didn't know what Silverpine meant, and it wasn't coming from Robin, and he wasn't being chased.

Hearing his name being screeched, it was hard to deny it now! Sage hunkered down as soon as he got in, hoping maybe if he wasn't easily seen from the windows that the fairy might get confused and leave, thinking he wasn't there. Robin was dumb! He'd proven that, so a simple trick like this should do it! Like peek-a-boo with an infant--

The timing. Blond hair. Black floomba (????). Demonic smooshed faces. That glowing in his eyes.

Sage's voice raised the equivalent amount of octaves that Robin's had lowered as he saw the glowing-eyed man impact and glare through his window. He screamed like the latest trophy of a psycho killer clown, recoiling into the car corner of the cart with panicked tears in his eyes.

Chilling sweat starting to break out on his face, Sage tried to compose himself before he passed out. The door was locked. He was as safe as possible at the moment. He stiffly turned his body to sit correctly, facing forward, but the continued presence of the shadowy figures at the window had the sweating increasing along with his heart rate. With a creaking motion as if his neck was as unmaintained as the carriage wheels, he slowly turned to glance at them again. It only reinvigorated the terror.

Lurching forward, Sage started to bang on the front of the carriage behind the driver's back. "HEY! PICK UP THE PACE! HURRY, HURRY!!! PLEASE!!!!" he begged, peeking quickly over his shoulder at random like once might while fleeing from a murderer. With enough speed, surely Robin and that black fuzzball would fall off or give up!

"Just sit back and relax~" the driver drawled back, unbothered. Sage wanted to cry.
