That being said, Wes carries with him a soft kind of sincerity. And it’s during moments of calm and peace that this is highlighted; his emotions usually accentuated in his tone of voice, a boyish smile, a twinkle in his eye, maybe even a pensive frown. A remnant of what was a young man still coming into his own, some could say. For which it’s quite easy to miss his true, underlying nature.

Greedy, conniving, and unforgiving. Wes isn't above using manipulation to get what he wants. His time in the Amata Famiglia taught him many things. The first being silence above all. The second, loyalty. He is the type of person that will take a secret to the grave and for such can usually be considered a good confidant. However, those that go against him in his line of business are better served to sleep with the fishes. He'd sooner dispose of someone for getting in his way than continue to work with a thorn at his side. That is, of course, if he doesn't benefit from them being alive. He can be very persuasive, after all.

As such, he takes his work seriously. Wes isn't the kind that would leave anything halfway. He'll see things through to the end even if said things are considered immoral or cruel.

History:

Wes is an Otherworlder and an ex-member of the Amata Famiglia centered around Montselice, an industrial-style city with some minor magical properties and a constant strife over territory. Made up of three families –Ascione, Lo Castro, and Savaglio– the Amata Famiglia was undisputedly the largest crime organization in the city and thus the constant target of not only other factions, but the law as well. However, the real threat hailed from within the Amata Famiglia itself as all three families often found themselves competing for the role of capomandamento. The person who attained the role would undoubtedly become the boss of the Amata Famiglia and would not only have rights to territory, but their family would be near invincible as well.

Thus, Wes’s life had been set to be a harsh one. Born a shy, dour boy with no real interest in the family business (or the drama, for that matter), he was forced to grow up quickly along with his brother. Many were the times that the two had to fend off for themselves against others and even forced to survive through random hits on adults. It didn’t help that children were expected to be wary of each other, be able to keep a secret, and never speak of their family’s activities. Otherwise, they would be severely punished or, worse, killed.

In order to learn, Wes was often brought along to be a lookout, attend dealings, strategize, as well as learn how to fight. These sessions slowly molded his attitude, and it began to mirror that of proper Savaglio. He began to strive for the position of capomandamento and it showed. His determination had gotten him a recommendation to become the Savaglio family’s future consigliere. However, none of that would come to be as his brother soon betrayed them all. The family was murdered in a raid conducted by the Lo Castros and Ascione, leaving Wes to be the only survivor.

Distraught and disheartened by his brother’s actions, he realized how stupid the whole charade between the families had been and sought revenge. He damned the Amata Famiglia and acted quick, sooner planting bombs in one of their gatherings. There he confronted his brother, the match ending in both receiving a bullet to their heads.

Yet, like many Otherworlders, Wes awoke in a strange land. A land full of opportunity.

The past behind him but not forgotten, Wes strived to rebuild the Savaglio name. What his family wasn’t able to achieve he would achieve here in Vyldermire. He would amount riches, reputation and, most of all, respect. It didn’t take long until he had adapted to the world. He went rogue, amassed cash, and eventually it was like business as usual. Shakedowns, a few deals here and there, some people going missing, and then the eventual formation of his own group all within the first year. By the second year he was carrying out operations from many of the shadier locales in the world and eventually came to accumulate a small fortune. He even came to own a small bakery in Engloria as well as a shady gambling den. Though how he came to own both and their general use outside of selling pastries and gambling is better left up to the imagination.

It seemed things were looking up for him in this world. And like any Savaglio his ambition grew. Wes wanted to be top dog and, unlike his brother, he’d get there without losing sight of what was really important.

The fairly materialistic and very much vain Andrea is the type who wants all the best things to himself, making him the jealous, envious sort not only when it comes to people but to objects as well. He doesn’t necessarily seek wealth and possessions at a constant rate but, if given the chance, will go out of his way to try and swipe them away. This makes him liable to kissing up to or bowing down to anyone who would allow him to achieve his goals, essentially worshipping the ground they walk on.  If left unprovoked, however, you’ll find an easygoing and sultry sort of persona who seems to care little for what others think of him. He does what he wants, when he wants, however he wants with little-to-no-care for consequences. So he goes out of his way to poke, sass, flirt, and play around with others until he ultimately becomes bored. Self-made amusement is the game, even if it ends up being reckless in the end. It’s good to note that those that stroke his ego and looks (as he’s extremely narcissistic) will easily catch his attention, more so if said person caught his attention first. He places great value on others’ beauty and their beauty alone, never really taking care to see through their personalities.

History:

A fairly recent arrival to Vyldermire. Andrea’s past life had been spent mostly under the domineering and watchful eye of his own family and brother Wesley. Being the meeker one of the two siblings, Andrea never quite fit within the margins of what the family expected and never really strived for the coveted position of capomandamento. Unlike his brother, who had adapted to the rigorous lifestyle, Andrea had the harder time of it unable to cope with the demands and expectations of the two. Forced into training at nine, dealing and witnessing things he wanted no part of, treated like the inferior one of the siblings while simultaneously feeling like he was being pushed away by the same family that claimed unity — it shouldn’t have been a surprise when everything reached its boiling point. Much less should it have been a surprise when he turned against his family in secret and began to vie for the role capomandamento if only to prove a point. It had only taken one blind decision from the Savaglios, offering him up as a treaty to another family, which led to catastrophe. After waking up in Vyldermire, Andrea has found a living mostly working as a hitman and part-time model within Rivengate.
