Plot Magic Request Thread NAqCjrL

Plot Magic is just magical abilities that your player can use, they do not contribute to PVP or combat in any way. You don't NEED to do this if you want to use abilities, but if you would like to catalogue them in your stat sheet, you can do so here! Please do not submit more than five at a time. Please remember that any abilities that affect other players in ANY way must state that they require OOC permission Additionally any abilities that could be perceived to be PVP effective, must state that they cannot be used in combat.

Ability Name: Demonic Flight
Description: William was born with pure black feathered wings almost like that of an Angel, but corrupted with his Demonic heritage. As such, when not in combat William can use these wings to get from place to place, and fly over large distances.
These wings, while great for getting over an obstacle take considerable more energy than walking, or even running. As such, William can not fly as long, and while he is able to go over things and move faster over obstacles he can not keep it up for as long as he would with more traditional means of travel.


Ability Name: Chaotic Darkness Effects
Description: Chaotic Darkness is a culmination of shadow or darkness magic, and chaotic forces, as such it has various effects that the user can activate at will, and with concentration. These effects are limited only to the users imagination, but are too weak, or take too much concentration to be used in any form of combat scenario. Examples include darkening a space, or increasing the amount of shadow upon him, or in an area; forming shadows or darkness into shapes; or other small feats of magic.

Description: Fire and control over such was born with the elder Vigni, and in rare times, individuals from some races have beckoned him to aid them in their quests and missions. Promethea is a ritualistic ability, in which Vigni coats a worthy person in a blue fire between his hands. The blue fire burns directly into the target's mind and soul, transforming them into a Pyromage with the ability to manifest and control fire.

Description: Vigni is aware of the dangers of fire on an existential level. Every unfortunate event regarding fires in the world has gone through his mind. This ability is recently developed to protect his friends from the danger of fire; the moment Abrahamus is cast upon a target, their bodies emit odors and auras that render them unaffected by any matters of fire.

Also these just need a little clarification, please resubmit stating that these are non-combat and cannot make Vigni or other players resistant to player-controlled fire magic.

Ability Name: Ice Manipulation
Description: Bleunenn's supremacy over ice allows her manipulate and form ice at a mere thought. It's uses can range to offensive such as creating a sword or projectile to a more defensive form like a shield or a wall. While Bleunenn's magic has plenty of battle potential the miscellaneous uses are where her talents really shine. For course there is the obvious uses such as cooling oneself or libations. However creating platforms, paths or improving her speed by skating across the ice and even dressing a wound to staunch bleeding are only a few example of how Bleunenn's magic is only limited by her imagination and ability.

Ability Name: Heknys' Call
Description: While Bleunenn is blessed by Heknys the young girl is unaware of the tolls she enacts for her gifts. Unfortunately for Bleunenn the call is not something she is aware of nor does she even understand. However, when Bleunenn allows her anger to get the better of her, her full potential is released. Surrounding the area with biting winds and torrents of ice and snow. Her rage snuffs out all life and fire as Heknys collects her toll while her chosen takes pleasure in balancing the scales once again.

(While under Heknys' Call all fire magic is blocked excluding players. However in exchange for the increase in power Bleunenn becomes enrage harming friend and foe alike)

Ability Name: Normal form and Magical girl form
Description: Reflectors are magical girls and magical girls have two forms: one that they use in ordinary life, and one that they use to fight or use magic. Differently to what most people believe, the transformation of many types of magical girls is fast and usually require less than a second. The transformation can keep more only if the majokko wants to make a coreographic apparition.
Also reflectors can transform and they can make the transformation quickly. When Hinako is in her magical girl form, her leg works fine. In the two forms Hinako also differ for some other physical characteristics and for the clothes that she wears.
Also there are skills that Hianko can use only in magical girl form, other that she can use only in normal form and some that can be used in both form. Usually is specified in the description if a skill can be used only in one of the two forms.

Description: Bleunenn’s connection with magic allows her to sense and detect magic be it from people to items. However, items/materials/magic that restrict, obscure or negative magic will either increase the difficulty or even outright negate Bleunenn’s ability.

(OOC Note: Requires the permission of the PC to detect any magic from their characters or npcs; also it can not be use to detect magic in combat)

Ability Name: Ice Refraction
Description: Using her magic to reflect and blend light, Bleuenn is able to either cloak herself in reflective ice or create an object to either camouflage herself or create a minor illusion such as an ice statue taking on the form of herself to trick an enemy.

Though while this spell can be extremely beneficial it comes with significant drawbacks. For one the spell is completely useless in the dark and loses effectiveness the darker the area is. Moving while cloaked is not recommended as the more perceptive can make out oddities in the spell as the area affected appears warped, movement only magnifies the wrapped appearance making the cloaking less effective.

(OOC Note: PC permission required to affected their character or npcs if unaffected refer to the closing paragraph above to detect Bleuenn. This cannot be used in combat)

Item Name: Familial Bonds Deck
Description: A deck of cards that showcases a variety of deities. Should the blood of two people be spilled upon a card, the two will come into contract. The card will then disintegrate in a fiery blaze unto the skin of those who wished to partake of it and effectively burning a mark similar to a tattoo somewhere on their body as proof. Should the contract’s terms be fully breached, the person will find themselves weakened and diseased to the point of it taking their lives. How long the sickness lasts can be anywhere from a few hours to even days at a time as the mark slowly begins to spread throughout their body. If they survive, while unlikely, the mark will recede and they will continue their life normally. Smaller breaches in terms will usually result in pulsing pains and the mark spreading slightly.

Created by a witch for reasons that probably involves something along the lines of a religion or whatever reason, the deck serves to benefit them as in reality what the victims are undergoing is a curse. The biggest holder of said curse is the one who enacts the contracts as their mark becomes larger the more people they will into it.

(Note: OOC permission is requited to form a contract. If formed, said person can decide how it affects them down the line if the contract is breached. It has no real effect over a character’s PVP stats.)

Note: Requires the permission of the PC for this to take effect, whether it was caught off guard that caused it to work or if the person's concentration/cognitive strength of will was too strong for the spell to work, etc. If this spell is performed, PC can decide on own character's strength of will to either slowly or quickly combat the effects of the immobilization, allowing PC to be able to run while laughing or be completely free from the spell. It has no real effect over a character’s PVP stats and it also cannot be used in combat)

Ability Name: "Knock, Knock Joke" [Unlock Spell]
Description: This spell has the ability to unlock anything locked by either saying "Knock, knock!" as in the beginning of a joke to 1 object while standing directly in front of it, or using her knuckles to knock on the locked object with the traditional knock to the "Shave and a haircut" song.

Anyone in the area is able to hear the noise from this spell. This also does not take away any magical traps placed on objects.

(Note: This can only be done with permission of PC. It has no real effect over a character’s PVP stats and it also cannot be used in combat)

Ability Name: Let's Put A Smile On Your Face

Description: After drawing a happy face on a given object or surface, anyone that sees it can suddenly feel an effect akin to receiving a serotonin rush that makes the person momentarily forget their anger or any dark thoughts, then smile and feel happy.  

This spell can only be activated by sight. It has no effect on someone blind or someone not looking/having eyes closed. If the happy face is drawn on a person, then it only makes others who look upon that person happy; it does not affect the person with the drawn on happy face themself, unless the person were to view themselves in the mirror.
Also, once the spell wears off, the person would be aware that it is caused by the magic of the happy face.

(Note: This can only be done with permission of PC. PC is able to determine if the character doesn't see the happy face and can also determine how long the effects last. It has no real effect over a character’s PVP stats and it also cannot be used in combat)

Ability Name: Box of wonders
Description: This towering wonder of magic and engineering barely fits in the back of a pickup truck and would need four oxen to pull it by any other means. It's a mix of 3D printer with all sorts of gizmo's, tools, and whatsamajigs for a skilled craftsman to churn out all sorts of technology new and old. Provided they can afford the materials. Even the crudest objects take minutes to carve out. It's favored materials are the easily enchanted silver, alloyed with copper to hold an edge. And oodles of fiberglass, though it can be fed woods and other metals as well. Often requires a steady power supply for complicated, hours long construction. It's use is restricted exclusively to Rivengate.

Description: Through a mix of light and sonic magic carried along the miracle of radio. Dwayne's microphone can project his voice and face not only to the screens and speakers of nearby technology but even inorganic, reflective surfaces to carry a message or an image. Shaking the target removes the slightly transparent image and dulls the sound, his targets must atleast be the size of a cell phone screen. It's use is restricted exclusively to Rivengate.

Ability Name: Moon Rabbit Heir
Description: Half
Due to Pluto's hybrid nature as a human / Moon Rabbit Hybrid, he never mastered the potentially strong transformation on his mothers side. Yet his flesh was still warped by some exotic enchantment from the moon. So long as he is able to move fully under his own control (I.E. he initiates a jump rather than falls and is not weighed down by anyone) he can treat gravity as more of a suggestion than a law. Weather used to tip toe on an invisible bridge or float to the very clouds. Even a harsh wind or voice could break this delicate relationship and send him freefalling back to the earth.

Please make the required amendments which for the sake of clarity will be noted in this pretty colour~ Once you've made the changes please submit them to this thread and we will re-review them.

Thank you! I added in the proper location restrictions and clarified that it's not the Lapin heritage responsible. It's the Moon Rabbit sub-sub species. Let me know if that's still unsuitable.

Note: Requires permission OOC for it to be used. Does not have any PVP effect/use.

Ability Name: Within a Mind's Eye
Description: A mixture of herbs that when burned and inhaled places the individual in a trance-like state. They hallucinate a key moment in their life, be it a happy memory or a sad one. The smoke can transfer from one person to the other, allowing the second party to fully view the event.

Note: Requires permission OOC for it to be used. Does not have any PVP effect/use.
